If you are dosing powder products, the powder can settle at the bottom of the stock container leading to inaccurate dosing and a waste of expensive product.

We manufacture a single size of Spinstir. The Spinstir 10-12 is capable of stirring a 100 litre stock container. If a Select doser is being used, it is generally not necessary to have large stock sulutions as the doser can dose at ratios between 1:20 and 1:1,000,000.

Technical Specifications

Normal Spinstir is capable of stirring 100 litres.
We also manufacture a 200 litre version as required.
The 15 litre version is no longer available, although the 6cm follower magnet is still available as a spare part.

Q. What can the Spinstir stir?

Any fine powder that needs to be dosed into a water line e.g. amoxycillin powder. This would settle to the bottom of the stock container unless it is agitated.

Q. Can I use a battery to run the Spinstir?

Yes. The Spinstir 10-12 has a 12V DC motor. Normally we supply the Spinstir with a 240V AC adapter, but you can specify battery clips at the time of ordering.

Q. Is there a larger version of the Spinstir 10-12?

Yes, we occasionally are asked to produce a 200 litre version of the Spinstir.

The larger version is the Spinstir 15-12 (Item code 213CA00). Because the Select doser doesn't normally require a large stock solution, this version of the stirrer is not so popular.
