Water meters

We generally recommend the use of water meters in situations where water flows are likely to be above 20 cu m /hr. However, it is a specialist job to install water meters so we suggest that it is often best for the customer to get their local plumber to source and install the meter.

Key Features

A pulse output is required from the water meter. Both the Select-380 and Select-640 can accept water meter pulses, but it is best to opt for a K=10 (10 litres of water per pulse) output if that is possible.

Technical Specifications

Sizes of 2 inches upwards are available.
It is often advisable to use a Select-640 SSD (Single Shot Doser) with large water meters as often these meters send out 1 pulse per 100 litres of water flow (K=100). See link below.
